Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo West

The staff at the front desk and parking were exceptional. Ms. Hatsumonji at the front desk was pleasant, welcoming and professional. Her english was also very good. I rented a car during this stay and had the opportunity to be met by Mr. Kato at parking for a majority of our 6 day stay. Mr. Kato is a consummate professional demonstrating a generosity of spirit. Housekeeping also did an excellent job keeping our room clean and tidy.

Convenient location close to Daimaru and other big department stores. Also somewhat walkable distance to the nightlife area. The baths were nice and the place was cleaned well. I appreciated the free waters that they gave.

Big rooms for Japan, lots of options at breakfast (western and Japanese), fridge in room. Could cast to TV from computer. Snack time from 3-7 with Japanese candies and chips and access to coffee machines/soda machines. Public bath was simple but nice, often crowded. Overall safe and clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Breakfast quite good, very Japanese, Onsen great. Good location near main railway station with link to airport and near ice sculpture park. Also just a few metres from access to the underground shopping and dining areas around the subway intersections and the main railway station.

Location was excellent.
